| EventsCornerstone Women's Book Club Do you enjoy reading good books and meeting with others to discuss ideas presented by their authors? If this describes you, consider joining the Cornerstone Women’s Book Club. The purpose of this group is to fellowship together as we discuss topics that are relevant to our Christian growth. The group will be open to women from Cornerstone and the community. We will meet monthly for about one and a half hours to discuss the selected book. Those who join this group must purchase their own book. The day and time of the meeting will be determined through a questionnaire that will be mailed to interested participants. Exercise Class - Saturdays 8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - beginning Sept 17 In the fall we will be offering a cardio and toning exercise class on Saturday mornings from 8:30-9:30 A.M. for six weeks beginning September 17th. It will be a great time for fellowship together with ladies from Cornerstone and the community. So invite your friends to join you. It is a free class and will be held in the Gathering Space. Moms of Munchkins Encouraging moms and giving them a chance to form friendships are two of the primary goals of this new ministry. Being a mom of young children can often seem overwhelming and at times a little lonely. We hope to not only encourage those that already attend Cornerstone but also moms from the neighborhood who might appreciate some time with other moms. Moms with children in preschool and younger will come together for fellowship and a little learning. We will be meeting the third Friday of every month from 9:30am to 11:30 am. Childcare will be provided for ages 0 to 5. Please join us! BETH MOORE SIMULCAST - SEPTEMBER 10, 2011 Cost: $10.00 Time: Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Event begins at 10:30 a.m. We will have a lunch break for 1 1/2 hours. There will be a room here at the church for you if you brought your lunch. There will be maps available for the area restaurants if you want to you go for lunch Event ends at approximately 5:10 p.m.
Intergenerational Breakfast - October 22, 2011 This year we are planning to have two intergenerational breakfasts for the purpose of having fellowship between women of different ages. We will have a wonderful breakfast and then a time of testimony from women of various ages and stages of their lives. We hope that this will connect us more as a body. We do so many things in a segregated manner, but we need each other, and this will be a couple of occasions to make that happen. Please place these two dates, October 22, 2011 and April 21, 2012, on your calendar now so that you will not miss this great opportunity. Let’s look forward to a time of interaction that will matter in our lives for eternity.
